Thai Fried Rice with Prawn
Try this quick and easy Thai fried rice made with basmati rice, prawns, eggs, chillies and soy sauce.

First part:

Soak 2 cup basmati rice in water for 10 mins.Â

Cook the soaked basmati rice according to packet instructions (usually its 2 cup water for 1 cup rice). Add salt to taste and 1 tbsp oil to the boiling water.Â
Second part

Heat 2 tbsp olive oil. Medium flame.

Add 2 finely chopped garlic and 1 finely chopped onion. Saute until translucent.

Add ½ kg prawn, 1 tsp chilli flake, 1 tbsp soy sauce, salt to taste, ½ tsp pepper and saute.

Move this mixture to the side of the pot and crack 2 eggs and scramble it.

Add 1 tbsp butter and add cooked basmati rice.

Garnish with spring onions. Fish sauce can be used (optional).
