Chicken Chukka
A Kerala style dry and spicy chicken dish made with onions, spices and herbs.

First part :

Mix ½ kg chicken, salt as required, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 2 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp black pepper powder, 1 tbsp lemon juice in a bowl and shallow fry in a pan with ¼ cup oil. Keep aside the fried chicken.
Second part :

Use same pan and remaining oil. Add 3 finely sliced medium onions and saute until brown.

Add following ingredients sautéing each ingredient for a few minutes or until aromatic -> 1 tbsp ginger&garlic paste, salt as required, 1 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp black pepper powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder and 2 tbsp tomato sauce.

Add back the fried chicken to the pan. Add few coriander leaves, 4 green chilli, few curry leaves and 1 medium chopped tomato. Saute for few minutes and serve!
